Our Story
The story of Academic Ballers began with a simple mission: to help my son, who aspired to play baseball at a high academic institution. When traditional recruiting services demanded an upfront fee of $7,500 to $10,000, it seemed excessive. With my background as a software company owner, I decided there had to be a smarter solution. Initially, I developed an app to track his communication with coaches. As the journey unfolded, we harnessed the power of AI, creating code to search thousands of tweets weekly, extracting valuable data to form a comprehensive, searchable database. Today, we provide this extensive player data free to college coaches, reshaping recruitment in a cost-effective, efficient way.
